PLAIN WHITE T'S - Big Bad World (2008)

The only reason i put this album here in the first place was because I am currently hooked up with their 2008 single "1234". The song was one of the sweetest song i have ever heard. Try and sing this song to your girlfriend or your wife if yr married, on a nice valentine evening or on your wedding day, I bet 100 bucks that she will cry her eyes out. I am not really a fan of Plain White T's but "1234" may be a view changing song if not life changing. Their second single "Natural Disaster" was a good rock song too. You will definitely love this one. If you like Dashboard Confessional then this album was definitely made for you.

GREEN DAY - American Idiot (2004) The only reason why am I putting this 2004 album is because it was so hard for me to get this album on the net when I finally decided that it was the time for me to try and give this album a proper listening. Green Day had just released their 2009 album titled 21st Century Breakdown a couple of months ago by the way and I think I shall wait for another couple more years before I give that one a try. After wimping out with a couple of "mature" albums, it was a relief to see this most popular punk rock band on the planet doing the hard political stuff again. Although Wake Me Up When September Ends was the typical ballad following the Good Riddance (time of your life) formula and I have to admit that the song was a very good, radio friendly and listenable song. ANTHONY HAMILTON - The Point Of It All (2009) I got this one from Rapgodfathers. Big up to the nice people there for this album. I bet most of you will love this album. 14 tracks filled with soulful vocalizations. Anthony Hamilton is no rookie with his powerful rough and tough voice with crazy skills on the microphone. You will love the soulful tracks in the likes of "Please Stay" showcasing Hamilton's powerful vocals and the bluesy "Prayin For You/Superman" as a tribute to the old school part dance hall and part swingin blues jam on the keys. "Fine Again" is purely a fine gospel number and "I Did It For Sho" is a nice laid back cute jazz tune. All I can say is that you will find this album heavily influnced with gospel. For those who love a complete evolutionized from roots to the newer than new styles of RnB, than this album is for you. Although I am not a fan of Hamiltons but I still think this album is worth a try. Still not my cup of tea...
